Congratulations Class of 2020!

At this time we would like to congratulate Temple Baptist Church’s 2020 Graduates! We will be holding a special service June 28 to recognize these Graduates on their momentous occasion.

 

William Noah Whitaker

 

Noah, son of Angie and Lamar Whitaker, is a 2020 honor graduate from Colquitt County High School. He also graduates as a member of the National Honor Society. Noah plans to attend Kennesaw State University in the fall to obtain a Bachelor of Arts focusing on Music. With his degree, he hopes to pursue film scoring and/or video game scoring as well as composing choral or chamber music. Noah enjoys the performing arts and was involved in many of the CCHS choral programs.

Abby Elyse Allegood

 

Abby, daughter of Kim and Ricky Allegood, is a 2020 honor graduate from Colquitt County High School.  She plans to attend ABAC in the fall where she will pursue a major in conservation law enforcement.  Her goal is to one day be a game warden unless this degree sends her in a different direction.  She loves nature and she loves being outdoors admiring the beauty God has created for all of us to enjoy.

 

Layla Christin Bufford

 

Layla, daughter of Haley and Frankie Buford, is a 2020 graduate of Pelham High School. As a dual enrollment student, Layla obtained her CNA license while completing her high school degree. She plans to attend Southern Regional Technical in the fall to study nursing.

MISSION: 24-7 PRAYER ROOM

Temple Baptist Church, along with other Colquitt County churches, has been invited to participate in the new "MISSION: 24-7 PRAYER ROOM" vision. This is an international, interdenominational prayer movement with over 25,000 prayer rooms in 78 nations who share a vision to revive the church and bring the lost to Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.  Colquitt County will kick off our involvement during Holy Week, Monday, March 25 at 12:00AM through Monday, April 1st, 12:00 AM. Temple has been asked to cover Thursday, March 28th, 12:00 AM until Friday, March 29, 12:00 AM. Thursday is the same day we are signed up for the Bible Reading on the Square. If you prefer, you can pray with someone during your chosen hour slot. The mission, going forward after Holy Week, is to hopefully keep the prayer room occupied every day with praying servants.
