Temple Baptist Church Updates

The menu for church this Wednesday night will be baked spaghetti, salad, toast and chocolate poke cake.   Please join us!   It is not too late to join the Women’s step study group that meet on Wednesdays. If you would like to join, contact Jenn Edmonds for more info.   SAVE THE MINISTRY DATE! Temple has been asked to host the Packer’s football team breakfast on Oct. 14 th . It’s a great opportunity to serve our community. Help is needed from 5:30am to 10am, so please text Betty Pittman at 429-3975.      We will be having our annual Fall Festival on October 26th. It will be from 6:30-8:30 pm. We will be taking up donations for individually wrapped candy and bagged chips! Also, there is a sign-up sheet for those who would like to run a booth or trunk!   The Wednesday Word Warriors are doing a canned food ministry. All proceeds will go to the food bank the week before Thanksgiving for those in need. Our goal is 250 item...

SHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T TELL SHANE!!!!! This Sunday if you want to be involved....we are planning to sit in the splash zone, (in the seats close to the pulpi t) .  Some of us plan to slip on raincoats or shields as Shane  steps up to the pulpit to start the service, because of comments he made last Sunday about the front seats being empty because he spits when he preaches. (HA!HA!HA!)
