Steve Pittman Family

The family of Steve Pittman would like to give their heartfelt thanks for your calls, text, visits, prayers for the loss of our husband, father, son, brother, uncle. Steve's death was unexpected. We are all still dealing with the shock but know that he has been healed by our Healer, The Lord Jesus Christ. We will see him again some day so we have that joy in our hearts
. 
Please continue to pray as Matthew and his family drive down from Pennsylvania. Pray for their safety and others as they are traveling.

Baker Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. The funeral is Sunday at 2:00. There will be no visitation.

Temple will be providing a meal on Sunday in the social hall after the 2:00 graveside rites. If you would like to help by providing a dish or would like to help in any other way, Irene and Wanda will be in charge. Please text Irene @ 901-496-8026 or Wanda @ 229-589-0087

Karen Pittman Thompson (Stan's sister)

Karen has a growth in her mouth. A biopsy was done and sent to Augusta. It came back malignant. She has seen Dr. McAfee at Phoebe Cancer Center. She's had scans and will be having a PET scan on Monday.  They have set Karen up with a leading specialist for this type of cancer at the University of Florida Cancer Center. This is a pretty aggressive cancer. Karen and Steve will travel to Jacksonville this coming Wednesday for a consultation visit. She will have more information to share then. Please join the family in prayer for Karen. We know there is power in God's people praying for one another.
